Has happened to quite a few people I know, but most with marginal numbers. Small changes too - 2.5 to 2.0 or 1.5 to 0.5. Got new glasses recently and mine (thankfully) hasn't increased, though adjusting to new glasses after a gap of over five years was quite difficult.
hey, its happened with me twice. apparently constant use of glasses brings about some chnage, acc to doc. Contacts are supposed to bring about a better improvement.

WV is insufferable
I've got cylindrical sight problems too, and it seems getting contact lenses to correct that is quite expensive (I was told it'd be above Rs. 3000).
This is funny: I'm didn't opt for lenses as my prescription keeps changing, and apparently lenses will stop it from changing. LOL.
